Members of the Harpswell Garden Club got an early start to the annual spring clean up in our gardens. A dedicated group of gardeners gathered on April 23 at the Harpswell Town Office Garden to rake the last of winter’s debris that was in the garden. After pruning, raking and fertilizing, a yard or so of mulch was spread over the garden. Now, to wait for those summer blooms!

Our next spring cleaning date is Thursday, May 1 at Centennial Hall (936 Harpswell Neck Road) when we begin work at 9 a.m. Bring your rakes, pruners, buckets or tarps and join the fun!
