Lady Jane is back to tell us the Fun and Fabulous Fall Fest is near!

As Lady Jane Scarecrow tells us, the Fun and Fabulous Fall Fest (Saturday, September 16) is her favorite day of the year. Harpswell Garden Club is preparing for this annual event. Donations for the Attic Treasures Yard Sale will be accepted beginning Monday, September 11. Club members will be baking those delicious treats for the Bake Sale. Our floral designers are preparing dozens of bouquets from their gardens, and local artisans and organizations will be arriving to fill the lawn with their wares.

Mums have been ordered, and will be on hand for the big day. Garden gloves are waiting to be sold. We have volunteers ready to assist our visitors with purchases. Signs are up through Harpswell and Brunswick. This event is the biggest fundraiser the garden club holds. Proceeds will help maintain historic Union Church as well as support the club’s programs and gardens.

We hope to see many of our friends and neighbors on Saturday, September 16, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at our Fest. Remember: see you at Centennial Hall (936 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell) on Saturday! Rain or Shine, we will have a Fun and Fabulous Fall Fest.
