The Wedding Committee of the Harpswell Garden Club has started the season on a high note as they met to assemble flowers for the first wedding of the season on June 24th!  Under the Chairmanship of Jackie Pellerin, nine members of the Committee arranged an assortment of pastel peonies and other lovely perennial flowers donated from members’ gardens for the wedding of Hillary Henry.  Ironically, Hillary is the mother of another bride whose flowers the Club did several years ago (Leslie)!  So this wedding was definitely a referral of the best sort since we’ve now done two generations of brides from the same family!
