Spring Cleaning at the Gardens
We have been a very busy group of gardeners. Beginning on May 4 and continuing through May 11, the volunteer gardeners of Harpswell Garden Club spruced up the gardens at Harpswell Historic Park, the Naval Museum’s Friendship and Memorial Gardens at Brunswick Landing, the Town Office garden, and Union Church’s lawn. It took many hours and dozens of volunteers, but all the gardens are ready for the summer. Thanks to all who gave their time and energy to this project, and thank you, too, to those who have signed up to continue the care taking duties through the summer. These gardens are the face of Harpswell Garden Club, and it is with pride that we share the fruits of our labors with the public.
