On a warm, summer-like day, nearly 70 garden club members met for our annual luncheon. Conversations hummed through the Kellogg Church’s community room, while caterer Theresa Tetrault and her crew worked in the kitchen preparing our delicious lunch. Jacinda Martinez of Grounded Local in Rockport, Maine arrived with an example of her Fashion in the Raw on a dress form, and delighted us with slides of her ephemeral creations. Raffle prizes were distributed, and several lucky attendees won the colorful centerpieces created by Sue Perless.

Our new president, Elisa Civello, was installed in office, and hopes to see many of us at our June meeting. This meeting, on June 15, is also at the Kellogg Church, and Joe Grady of Two Coves Farm will talk about the diverse advantages of raising animals on farm pasture.
