Arthur C. Clayton Scholarship winner Emily Watts with HGC President Ann Standridge

On April 20, 2016, our garden club’s president, Ann Standridge, traveled to the University of Maine’s Orono campus to award the Arthur C. Clayton Scholarship to this year’s recipient, Emily Watts. The Clayton Scholarship goes to students majoring in horticulture, and is named in honor of past garden club member and Harpswell resident, Arthur Clayton.
