The Harpswell Garden Club has been busy helping decorate for the upcoming holidays. The lights on the tree at Centennial Hall have been strung, thanks to Helene and Bill Chase, Annette and Ken Dunn, and Becky and Pat Gallery. Bill and Pat also put up garland on the porch. All that awaits is to turn on the lights. This will take place on Saturday, December 5, at 5:30 pm. Carols and refreshments will accompany the tree lighting. Children of all ages are invited to attend.

Sue and Bob Perless led the effort to decorate the Pejepscot Historical Society and the Joshua Chamberlain House in Brunswick. Festive bows decorate the wreaths at each building, ready for Santa’s visit on Saturday, December 5. Take a peek when you are in town to see the cheery decor.

The club’s Christmas Tea will take place next week, on Thursday, December 10, at the Harpswell Inn. Reservations are due to Betty Robbins by Friday, December 4.
