A team of Harpswell Garden Club members and some of the Board of Directors of the new Brunswick Naval Museum were hard at work on Saturday morning, November 7, to get the Memorial and Friendship Gardens ready for a Veteran’s Day opening.  The new Brunswick Naval Museum and Memorial Gardens plans to have a grand opening on Wednesday, November 11 — Veteran’s Day — to show the public the new exhibit and photos of past activities at the former Brunswick Naval Air Station.  Those attending that day can also sit in front of a flight simulator and fly the P-3 planes that used to be attached to the Air Station.
